ECPHRASTIC WALKS:
VENICE
How to encounter art through a perceptive exercise? Through what real and imaginary places? How can we share what has remained in our memory, with words and signs, to bring it back to the mind of the listener?
The Ecphrastic Walks are exercises that allow for a poetic encounter with the landscape of the city and its artworks through the direct experience.
At the end, every partecipant will have
the possibility of describing the chosen artwork to the others through to the ancient exercise of ekphrasis, while enjoying a good glass of wine.
In Venice we will visit the churches of S.Giovanni Crisostomo, S.Zaccaria, S.Francesco della Vigna.
PLEASE NOTE: The experience is not a guided tour of the city, it is an art lab, and it might be bilingual (ita-eng)
WHERE: Meeting Point with Jacopo in front of the church of San Giovanni Crisostomo. End at the "Trattoria da Johnny" in Campo de le Gate.
DURATION: About 3 hours
COSTS: 25€ adults, glass of wine included. The visit is confirmed with a minimum of participants (6) and it will be confirmed with a 48h notice.

In Bologna we will visit the churches of S.Bartolomeo and Gaetano, San Giovanni in Monte and San Domenico.
